King Coffee made by Organo Gold is a medium dark roast organic arabica coffee beans from Brazil infused with the spores of organic Ganoderma mushroom (also known as Reishi).

Reishi Extraction Process

When the Ganoderma mushroom matures (about 5-7 months), it releases spores. The spores have a protective hard shell making it difficult to digest. Organo uses a patented process to gently crack the shell to prevent leaching of the potent microscopic contents, prevent crushing the actual spore and extract over 90% of the beneficial properties. The spores have higher nutrient content compared to other parts of the mushroom. They have to be harvested at the right time and opened in the right way for optimal quality.

Ganoderma mushrooms can be consumed in different forms like powder, mycelium and spores. Organo also offers the Ganoderma spores on its own for individuals who want to consume the benefits of Reishi on its own rather than together with the organic king coffee.
